Build a resume worth reading.
ResumeDesignr exists because most resume tools optimise for the wrong things — generic templates, AI that writes for you, marketing copy that over-promises ATS magic. We're trying to build the opposite of that.
The story.
ResumeDesignr started as a side project after watching too many friends — talented people with strong careers — get filtered out of applications because their CV had a layout that confused an ATS parser, or because they couldn't articulate what they'd achieved in a way recruiters could scan in seven seconds.
The CV-builder market is crowded with tools that solve only the visual problem. They produce pretty PDFs that fall apart in Workday and Greenhouse. They have AI that writes generic bullet points no recruiter believes. They promise "ATS certification" no parser vendor has ever actually issued.
We wanted to build something boring in the right ways: real text-extractable exports, honest claims, no dark patterns, generous free tier, and a small set of templates that look correct in 2026 — not 2008.
We're a small team. If you email us at info@resumedesignr.com, an actual person reads it and replies. If you find a bug, we fix it that week.
What we believe.
Honest about what we promise
No ATS-certification claims we can't back up. No fake recruiter logos. No "trusted by 10 million users" until we are. See our methodology page — we publish what we can verify and what is still in progress.
AI as the assistant, not the author
AI bullet rewrites, ATS scoring, and tailoring are tools you control. Your CV is always your words. We never auto-generate a resume from a name and a job title.
Free tier should actually be useful
You can build, polish, export to PDF and DOCX, and share publicly without paying us a penny. Premium adds depth — bigger AI quotas, the Interview Workbook, view-tracking detail — but free works on its own.
No dark patterns
Cancel anytime, one click. No "are you sure?" guilt trip. No forced annual plans. No fake countdown timers. No email-spam after signup.
Designed for global candidates
Most resume tools assume US/UK conventions. We support GCC (Gulf) format out of the box (Photo, Nationality, Visa, DOB), language proficiency levels, and templates that look correct in regions where they'll actually be read.
